Project: Real-time scientific data acquisition system
Client: Aerospace company
Summary: Client won a bid to develop a large scientific instrument used to measure wind speeds and conditions throughout the lower atmosphere. Their expertise was in physics and engineering, so they hired us to develop the control program. Requirements included interfacing with and coordinating the operations of multiple pieces of hardware—a high-powered laser, telescope, interferometer and cameras—and then delivering data gathered from these devices in real time to various analysis tools across a network.
