In addition to its longtime support of technology industry groups and events, Stout Systems is also a corporate sponsor of arts advocacy organizations, including the University Musical Society. In April, Stout was sponsor host of a very special performance featuring jazz legends Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock.
Mr. Corea and Mr. Hancock improvised for two hours to a standing room only house at Hill Auditorium (3,500 seats) in Ann Arbor, MI, which was the largest audience for any performance on their 2015 North American tour. There were numerous standing ovations. The concert was made extra special by the surprise singing appearance of Gayle Moran Corea, who is a Michigan native.
Following the concert, all of the performers graciously met for nearly an hour with John Stout, several Stout employees and their guests, as well as UMS leadership. The performers expressed their deep appreciation for the enthusiastic response they received.
We are proud to have been part of this historic event!
