You and your teammates are allowed one laptop—and as much human intelligence as you have available—to solve a fun and challenging software puzzle.

It's a no-holds-barred smackdown!

Use the O/S, platform, language and framework of your choice.

Never has software been this exciting, this challenging, or this action-packed.

1. Choose your team, between one and three developers (one laptop per team).

2. Choose a team name.

Show up with your game face on, ready to win fame and a fabulous prize.

The winning team will receive a personal license for ANY JetBrains product of their choosing.

The Rules of the Smackdown

1. Administration. The Stout Software Smackdown (the "Smackdown") will be administered and a winner selected by one or more staff of Stout Systems ("Stout").

2. Eligibility. You must be a registered CodeMash attendee. Sponsors and their staff who are not registered code attendees are not eligible. Employees of Stout and CodeMash organizers are not eligible.

3. Hardware and Software. You must provide your own laptop and have all properly licensed software installed. Stout and CodeMash will not provide or make any recommendations as to the use of any particular hardware or software for the Smackdown.

4. Stout at its sole discretion will determine the winner. The winner and prize will be announced during the CodeMash conference. If Stout determines that no individual or team has won the Smackdown, no winner will be announced and no prize will be awarded.
