Windows Network Engineer

We are searching for a Network Engineer to install, configure and maintain the IT system for our client's online product line.

LOCATION
Ann Arbor, MI

COMPENSATION
65-85K (potentially higher for exceptional-fit candidate)

REQUIRED
  • Windows OS from XP thru 10 that includes policy editor, registry editor, and advanced configuration
  • Windows Servers from 2003 - 2013
  • Creating and deploying images using tools such as Clonezilla to remote workstations over the network and thru bootable USB memory sticks
  • Troubleshooting application crashes using 3rd party debugging tools
  • Setting up, configuring, and maintaining web servers.
  • Experience with network management and disaster recovery tools

OVERVIEW
  • Evaluate Tablets, USB Hubs, and cellular modems
  • Create a standard workstation configuration, test it, and save it's image
  • Lock down workstation with windows policy editor and other 3rd party software
  • Establish a method to push images to 10,000 workstation in the field that have low bandwidth part time server connections
  • Evaluate and setup network tools to manage the health of remote workstations
  • Setup and maintain local windows servers
  • Setup and maintain cloud based server
  • Create and manage a disaster recovery plan that includes redundancy and backing up data
