Our client designs high-performance analog, digital, serial and FPGA I/O solutions for industrial and defense applications.
The ideal candidate has solid experience selling embedded computer products or systems.
LOCATION
Wixom, MI
TRAVEL
Approximately 1 week per month (25%)
COMPENSATION
$90K base plus commission which ranges from 20% to 40% of base on average.
REQUIRED SKILLS FOR NATIONAL SALES MANAGER - EMBEDDED SOLUTIONS
- Solid sales experience with a highly similar product
- Experience calling on military, aerospace or defense contracting markets
- Excellent understanding of relevant technical subject matter, whether acquired through academic, military or sales training
- Because our client works with defense contractors, you must be a U.S. Citizen
SOME RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE INCLUDE
- Develop, motivate, and manage manufacturer's representatives within defined regions.
- Talk to customers and potential customers to work out the hardware and software needed for their projects.Develop and maintain working relationships with potential direct customers and direct contacts.
- Ensure that the financial targets are defined and met (sales funnel, and territory quotas).
- Develop and execute regional sales plans, budgets, forecasts, sales funnels, and other management objectives as assigned.
- Keep manufacturer's representatives informed of all activities with customers in their assigned regions.
- Keep customers and representatives informed of new product developments.
- Prepare quotations. Review quotes and purchase contracts for potential customers.
