Are you a Senior Websphere Commerce developer?

We are looking for a programmer/analyst to work as a member of the eCommerce team supporting client's direct-to-consumer and retailer-facing web sites.

LOCATION
Dearborn, MI client location.

REQUIRED

• 3-5 years IBM WebSphere Commerce (versions 5, 6 or 7)
• J2EE, XML, HTML, CSS
• Experience with performance and stress testing
• AS400 experience a plus, but not required.

COMPENSATION
Up to 90K (possibility for contract-to-hire).

EDUCATION
Bachelors degree - Computer Science preferable.

POSITION REQUIRES AN ABILITY TO:

• Assume technical project responsibilities within the Software Development Life Cycle, including preparing technical designs, coding, developing unit test cases, unit and system integration testing, deployment and support.
• Read requirements and conceptual documents and visualize technical design to fulfill the requirements.
• Visualize and articulate technical designs that fit within overall existing Commerce architecture, are supportable, and scalable.
• Communicate ideas to technical group.
• Develop test cases that cover all user requested function points and integration points.
• Interact with systems to test designed functionality and find errors prior to deployment.
• Critique and successfully suggest change to peers' work that makes project more technically sound, supportable and scalable.
• Reach across functional group to other members of IS to ensure integration points are understood, supportable and scalable.
• Commit to project time lines, due dates and project methodologies.
