We are searching for a JEE developer to join our client's team contributing to the design and implementation of web objects and services within their eCommerce infrastructure.

Our client is developing the next generation of the platform that will support an online point of sale system.

LOCATION
Ann Arbor, MI.

COMPENSATION
Up to 95K (outstanding benefits)

REQUIRED

• Fluency in Java or C# (both preferred)
• Experience with JUnit, JMS (Java Messaging Service), and Object Oriented Design
• SOAP and Restful Web Services - JAX-WS/JAX-RS preferred
• 4+ years of development/architecture experience with web infrastructure
• Highly motivated by difficult problems and a passion for cutting edge technology

PREFERRED

• Open source project participation
• Agile development experience

POSITION OVERVIEW:

(10%) eCommerce Solution Architecture

• Collaborate with other architects and lead developers on the eCommerce solution architecture
• Architect, implement, and maintain a centralized customer database for all channels (e-Commerce and brick and mortar channels)
• Design horizontally scalable architectures for all eCommerce web services (etc. Customer, ordering, store location, real-time)

(80%) Software Development

• Write, modify, and debug eCommerce applications and solutions, such as Customer Database, StoreLocator, and Order Storage
• Generate Unit Test and component Tests for developed eCommerce applications and solutions
• Rapidly prototype new ideas and concepts
• Transition developed applications and systems into testing and production phases

(10%) Self-Directed Innovation

• Self-directed research and development of new information technology applications to improve the customer eCommerce experience
