Are you interested in writing for a Stout Systems publication?
Much of our published content is contributed by industry professionals who are not Stout employees, so we are only too happy to consider your material.
While we do not pay outside authors, our newsletter, by reason of its large circulation, provides wide promotional exposure and potential recognition for our authors.
Please note that our editors have the final say on content, and are under no obligation to accept any material for publication that they do not feel is appropriate or that does not meet Stout's guidelines. The editors also reserve the right to edit or delete content as required to meet our guidelines.
Please also note that we do not knowingly reprint articles that have previously appeared in publication without the express written permission from the copyright holder.
Our content requirements vary depending on the publication but typically range from 500-800 words for a general topic or 800-1000 words for a technical article. Note that these word counts are estimates and are finalized by the editors during the layout process.
If you wish to write a technical article with code samples, the article word count may drop significantly. Please ensure that code samples are as concise and self-explanatory as possible.
Please provide any accompanying graphics at the time you submit your article content.
You should also include a professional bio of 50-75 words, along with the e-mail address at which our readers may contact you. You may also provide a high resolution professional headshot photo which our editors may include with your bio, space permitting.
Our editors set publication schedules and will let you know submission deadlines and publication dates.
We look forward to seeing your work!
