We are searching for a data manipulation specialist to join our client's team in Grand Rapids, MI.

LOCATION
Grand Rapids, MI

COMPENSATION
$35K to $45K plus generous benefits package

REQUIRED

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline OR equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in the use of database tools (such as MS Access) and data manipulation software (such as MS Excel).
• Good experience with at least one scripting or automation language such as Python, JavaScript, VBScript, Bash, Batch Files Commands OR a programming language such as C++.
• SQL query writing experience.
• Ability to read source code and make minor updates when necessary.
• Strong problem solving skills with a level of attention to detail that results in 100% accuracy.

PREFERRED

• Knowledge of Layout/Variable Data Printing software programs such as Adobe InDesign, PSL/Jetletter

OVERVIEW

• You will process large amounts of data according to client requirements, established specifications and procedures to ensure accuracy.
• You will prepare data for output to a variety of devices in printed and electronic media.
• You will prepare templates in InDesign, PSL, BCC, and other composition tools for output to Xerox XCP 1000, Nuvera, and other output devices.
• You will systematically cross train with other team members on all ongoing processes and projects. Assess current approach and suggest improvements when appropriate. Work with team to document existing projects with established process.
