We are searching for a LAMP stack Web developer to join a team (contract-to-hire) in creating solutions that push the boundaries of traditional Web design.Some projects emphasize work flow management systems while others require user-friendly interfaces for innovative hardware solutions, mainly centered around robotics.
LOCATION
Saline, MI
COMPENSATION
Hourly wage is commensurate with experience during the contract-to-hire phase plus benefits.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, or another field with equivalent professional experience
REQUIRED
- LAMP stack proficiency including PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML and MySQL. You will be required to demonstrate your skill on a coding test focusing on JavaScript and jQuery.
- Experience with CSS
- Experience using database in real-world projects
- Understanding of AJAX and data encapsulation formats such as JSON
- You must be a U.S. Citizen for this role. Some projects are defense-related, requiring citizenship.
PREFERRED
- Experience with version control and bug tracking systems
- Experience in a client-facing role, gathering requirements and turning them into architecture and design. A candidate who brings this experience to the table will be viewed extremely positively.
OVERVIEW
- Work with UI graphical designers, Web developers, and other team members to build functional and efficient Web applications.
- Work through the full development cycle from requirements and design to implementation, and contribute to documentation throughout that process.
- Estimate hours for work completion and communicate with management on your work status
