COMPENSATION
Direct-hire opportunity. Salary commensurate with experience, PLUS a bonus plan, health insurance benefits, tuition reimbursement, as well as 3 weeks of paid vacation.
REQUIRED
- Solid experience with hands-on Web development
- HTML/DHTML/CSS
- Intermediate to expert JavaScript, with a strong grasp of the rapidly growing ecosystem of JavaScript tools and best practices
- Modern Web application design patterns, such as server or client side MVC
- Version control tools, e.g. git, Subversion, Mercurial or equivalent
- Understanding of advanced design patterns for creating modular, testable software such as Dependency Injection and Mocks
WOULD BE BENEFICIAL
- The Node.js platform and ecosystem such as:
* NPM
* Express
* Grunt - Familiarity with database platforms, either SQL or NoSQL and common ODM patterns
- Familiarity with accessibility concepts and practices beneficial but not essential.
